I recently used Fast Directory Submitter and it works great, but several weeks after submitting a couple thousand submissions I've only gotten maybe 20 approvals at the most. I made sure the link was submitted the right category, etc. So it makes me wonder if the directories it uses are any good to begin with. I checked a few of them manually and they all had stats like: Approved Links 1042 Pending Links 26893 Quite obvious they don't approve links.

It's a waste of time to submit to hundreds or thousands of directories that never approve any links.

All in all, I think using it was a waste of time. I could have just manually submitted to 50 directories and got the same result.
